Meet the Team
Sheila Pack-Case, Au.D., CCC-A
Doctor of Audiology
Dr. Sheila Pack-Case is a dedicated audiologist who graduated from the University of Florida and has been in the field since 1989. She brings extensive experience from various areas of audiology to her practice. Her career has taken her through ENT practice, the nonprofit sector, and private practice, allowing her to develop a well-rounded skill set and a deep understanding of patient care.
For six years, Dr. Case served as the CEO of the Hearing Center, a prominent practice within a 14-practice ENT group in Atlanta. During her tenure, she successfully managed the operations of the center, overseeing a team of audiologists and ensuring optimal patient experiences. However, Dr. Case has recently turned a new page in her life and is ready to embark on the next chapter of her journey.
With a new marriage and a desire to reconnect with her roots, Dr. Case has made the decision to settle down in Vero, a place where she envisions spending her retirement years. She is thrilled to be surrounded by family and to have the opportunity to give back to her community. Returning to a private practice setting allows her to rediscover her passion for audiology and make a positive impact on patient’s lives.
Dr. Case finds great joy in working with patients, embracing the diversity of personalities she encounters. Witnessing the transformative moment when patients experience enhanced hearing abilities for the first time brings her immense satisfaction. One of her defining qualities is her sociability, as she thoroughly enjoys the interpersonal aspect of her work.
What sets Dr. Case apart is her unique perspective on running audiology practices. She firmly believes that audiology doesn't need to be complicated or rely on gimmicks. Instead, her focus is on the patient. Her goal is to help individuals achieve their own goal of improved hearing, providing them with the support and guidance they need.
Her journey into audiology began somewhat unexpectedly. Initially aspiring to be a meteorologist, she pursued a degree in Speech Pathology during her college years. However, upon the suggestion of her mother, she found her true calling in audiology. Dr. Case knew she had found her passion and never looked back.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Case cherishes moments of relaxation and adventure. She loves retreating to her home in Connecticut to disconnect from the world, relishing in the serenity of the lake, and exploring the scenic surrounding. Dr. Case also has a passion for travel and experiencing different culinary delights, with Turkey being one of her most interesting trips to date. However, her favorite place to visit is Vero Beach, which holds a special place in her heart. Opening her private practice there feels like a homecoming, allowing her to combine her professional expertise with personal fulfillment.
Dr. Sheila Pack-Case is an audiologist driven by a genuine desire to help others and enhance their quality of life. With her wealth of experience, compassionate nature, and commitment to her patients, she brings a fresh approach to the field of audiology, ensuring that each individual receives the care and attention they truly deserve.
